ABOUT US

Arrow Plumbing was started as a division of the William Whartenby drain cleaning company in 1970. The company founder Bill Whartenby opened in our current location at 1813 E Cornwall St in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Soon after, the business expanded to do plumbing and heating repairs specializing in excavation jobs for the installation of new sewer and water lines.

The Huttenlock family's involvement in Arrow started in 1978 when Robert Huttenlock Sr began his plumbing career as an apprentice. In 2018 after 48 years of running the business Bill retired although he still makes himself available to customers and helps out the office with sales and consulting.
